If anyone here loves Cuban, spanish fusion style food that is
made to order and not frozen .......you need to try Crave in Ansonia. It is absolutely fantastic and the food is beyond great. My wife and I go there a lot. Don't let the Ansonia location deter you.......it is a must try, you will not be dissapointed:

Also, for authentic insanely awesome tacos, go to the New Haven Food Truck on the wharf. Ixtapa truck is the one we go to. The food is great.

I will try Crave. I was a bit disappointed in Soul De Cuba in New Haven when I went last time, maybe I hit on an off day.

Wife and I are foodies.....I can almost guarantee that you will not be disappointed with Crave. Only thing is on weekends, you must make a reservation or you wont get in. Always busy. Get their homemade Sangria too.....omg is it good and strong.

I agree that Crave was pretty good the couple of times I went. They had a really good mojito also. The Italian restaurant down the street is great too.
