Default Stamford or White Plains?

I'm trying to get some first hand knowledge of which is a better place for single professionals? Both seem to be getting better bot still a ways to go. Any help is appreciated!

I believe Stamford is (although it ihas a somewhat higher cost of living than White Plains), you get more recreation options in Stamford and the Stamford- Norwalk metro is growing in the number of job offers (higher income is given I believe). And if you are working in Stamford, I would suggest living in Stamford (close to north side). It won't be hard finding a good town in future either!

Here are some questions:

What kind of job are you looking for?
How much pay?
How big of a company?
AND
What kind of atmosphere do you like/enjoy(for a place to live)?

WELCOME to CT

sincerely,
sri

Thanks for the input. I already have a good job in White Plains but don't mind the commute. I think you are right but always helps to get other opinions.
