Default Fairfield County Food

What a delicious weekend - I highly recommend - Smokey Joe's BBQ - right on the Darien/Norwalk border and WestFair Fish and Chips in Westport......whole belly clams....not a fan - but my husband loved them. I finally had my first lobster roll - Oh....My....God...........I'm hooked.

Glad you enjoyed the culinary offerings of southwestern CT- Many from CA and NYC/LI northern NJ complain about the lack of good Chinese food.

Frankly I do not think many are unaware of some of the fine Chinese, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese restaurants in the area.

Myself- I am with your husband-I love whole bellied friend clams.

Default The whole belly clams

taste like fried oysters to me. I honestly don't think I could tell the difference if I were doing a blind taste test.
