That was the situation in yesterday's afternoon commute between stamford and norwalk, both south and northbound. Took a good hour or so.

There was an accident on Route 15 around exit 63ish this morning closed down 1 lane southbound. Bad one, looked like one guy got T-boned.

Was your situation really an accident?

The major roads in Fairfield county are way over the capacity they were originally designed to handle. Simple

I headed to Milford from Derby around 1 pm. Rte 8 was a parking lot so I avoided that. Took rte 121 and crossed over the Merritt and saw that too was jammed. I stayed off all highways. I have enough traffic during the weekly commute. The traffic situation is awful for sure.....

I'm not too familiar with that stretch but could this have been the reason? Very tragic...

LOL , LA has nothing on Toronto traffic.... If you've ever been stuck on the 401 or the QEW you'll see why. 26 lanes of slow , crawling traffic , backed up for miles....

I think the absolute most sadest thing is the fact that there's only 1 direction you go, STRAIGHT! Nobody coming from the sides, nobody parrallell parking, no red lights, ITS STRAIGHT! People need to friggin focus and go with the flow. Stop tailgaiting, stop weaving, and stop doing 50 in the left lane!!
