Be sure to check their hours, they're not open for lunch on some days.

If you're at Silver Sands, you could also check out Bistro Basque if you like Spanish/French tapas. Or Corner Restaurant, some of the best brunch in CT. Walnut Beach Creamery for awesome ice cream, Bobette's for great Chowder, etc. Lots of good food in the area.

Thanks, brother!

Has anyone here done a C-D forum meet-up? I used to hang out with the C-D folks in the Denver board a lot, after identifying food places others haven't been to.

Will there even be any form of interest among this board to meet and eat?

I spent a lot of time in the birds place. It was great. But unfortunately, it's poorly lit, I think it's that way for a reason. So, taking pictures properly is a fishy thing. And lots of glare on the glass too.

And kiddies running all around

Probably better if you can make a reservation - every time I pass Caseus it is packed!

Nothing like getting stuck in traffic, folks. I-95 is so out of control in the summer

I started to go to the beach, but the traffic was unbearable and I cut into bridgeport to save my sanity and go to the zoo instead and spend more time with the tigers. To my chagrin, both were asleep

That stinks, you can take the Merritt to Milford Parkway to Silver Sands. Might be better. Today's an awesome day for it!

I will have to plan it carefully the next weekend or the next. I wish the government can do something about the I-95 situation. At least like an I-95 upper and lower, like there is towards Jersey.

Or possibly collect toll and use the money to better the traffic handling. It froze all six times I hit it this weekend.

I found the photos quite interesting, especially considering that I thought they prohibited taking photos of the exhibits.
