Exactly correct.

The idea that you're one of the chosen few, hunkered down, listening to the people speaking truth to power is very seductive. That's why there's such a high cross-section between fox viewers and conspiracy theorists e.g. birthers.

Know what else is seductive? Actually being informed. It's amazing how rarely any of the cable channels--Fox/CNN/MSNBC--discuss the Constitutional violations of the Libyan war & TSA searches despite outcries from Republicans and Democrats. It's not just Fox that covers up issues and allows "conspiracy theorists" to thrive; it's all the networks. Funny how that happens.

If anyone is looking at any one source for information and discrediting all of the conspiracy theorists and other news agencies, obviously he/she is going to be misinformed. Do your research and make sure international news (not just BBC) is a part of your daily reading along with WSJ/NYT/CNN/Financial Times/etc.

For all its right-leaning editorial slant, the WSJ presents a surprisingly unbuffed picture of the news. They rarely shy away from telling it like it is on the ground, no matter who is responsible.

Hell, it's even Chomsky's preferred newspaper.

LOL University of Maryland, that conservative bastion.

Here, if you give two sh*ts about integrity, watch this - and never post that link again.

I dunno? I have a couple of degrees and found-- in general-- the professors and researchers to be pretty grounded professionals.
That's awful nice of you to say about HeadedWest. <--- You'll figure that out in a few minutes.

This video outlines pretty clearly how full of sh*t the left is.

I swear you people run around like Rainman chanting "Foxnews, Foxnews, Foxnews".

Speaking of illegal immigration, look at the bright side.

The flow from Mexico has decreased to a trickle, all thanks to better living conditions and more economic opportunities in Mexico, among other things.

See article: For Mexicans Looking North, a New Calculus Favors Home - Interactive Feature - NYTimes.com

Maybe ranking so high in the illegal immigration scale doesn't mean that what has happened to California, Arizona, etc will happen here.

Actually that is and will probably happen... Mexico is slowly getting better , and Majority of the population in Mexico has no plans on coming here....we get the Northern poorer states and not the Middle Class and Rich Mexicans...

Feds: More than 2,000 grams of liquid cocaine shipped in Pilot pens seized from illegal immigrants in Branford - Connecticut Post

But, yeah, lets give them free healthcare, a discount on education, and look the other way when they don't register their vehicles, pay car tax and collect under the table.

Looks like the liberal catering is really making them upstanding citizens, huh?!
