Danbury Trailer Park
Pleeeeease..does anyone live in this park that can tell me what its like.
Is there any privacy..is there any room to BBQ, relax enjoy the trees etc...
I dont want to live there...we just want to buy a little home away from home.
If I go to see for myself it would have to involve a realtor and I dont feel like hearing THEM tell me how wonderful it is..I want to hear the truth from someone who knows first hand....

Do you mean the park on Kenosha Ave? I think that might be the only park in Danbury, though I may be wrong.
If you are talking about this one, I understand it was severely flooded last April when we had a bad Nor'easter. I know some residents had to be evacuated by boat. Location is great though. Right near the mall, Mill Plain and Lake Ave is nearby and you have quick access to 84. I've always thought Kenosha Ave was rather scenic.
If you have the money and are looking for a 'home away from home' Candlewood Lake offers peaceful living in the towns of Danbury, New Fairfield and New Milford. Homes can be pricey though. New Milford has a larger amount of trailer parks than Danbury does, and it's a little more country up there too. More country would probably mean more space for that BBQ.

You may be referring to Jensens TP?? My company does much work for heating and A/c there, both service and delivery. I am there often, and yes there are other TP's nearby. (I dont LIVE there-I know people who DO)
Jensens is LARGE, they have a fulltime maintenance staff yearound for groundskeeping, and it is well kept and basically loaded with elderly and retired working class (read: VERY nice friendly people god bless em) Privacy, well if I , umm, hafta GO to the bathroom I aint gonna find a place to without for fear of being spotted so its a good thing I know so many folks there. But honestly everyone has there own little eden. On the downside-BIG downside-the Lake Kenosia floods like all hell and so many folks have been traumatized from repeated flooding they have abandoned trailers. Nearly a dozen I know of for a fact. Mostly affected streets along Lakeview and Greenview's south end (higher numbers 50's to 80's) .
Much smaller TP off exit 2, I-84 behind the DHL depot..Blueberry Lane. Not well kept at all. Nearby Patterson NY, on Rt. 311 is O'haras TP. Very well kept, about 30 units on bigger lots. Open space, scenic views and no floods.

The most affordable condos in walking distance to Danbury Town Park start around $175,000 for a 1 bedroom and $210,000 for a 2 bedroom. Good luck!

Oh there is Candlewood TP as well. I know the one you are referring to. No, its not affiliated with jensens in Danbury. My company also services Candlewood as well, Im just not overly familiar with it as its not my assigned area. Been there @ 6 times. Small, units are all places perfectly aligned with one another. Relatively tightly grouped. Its at the lower end of Candlewood lake, off Nabby Road.
