Default Mexican restaurants

While visiting the Danbury area before our move I noticed an over abundance of italian restaurants but not once did I see a mexican one. We LOVE mexican food. Whats up with that or did I just miss them. Is this a business opportunity?

There are some Mexican Restaurants in town. There is Desert Moon Cafe located both in the mall and in a shopping center on Mill Plain Road. Panchos and Gringos is located in both Brookfield and Bethel. Tequilas is also located on Route 7 in Brookfield. There are a couple of smaller places in downtown Danbury.

Mexican is not as popular in New England as other parts of the country like California or Arizonia. Italian is though. Has to do with the number of ethnic people in the area (northeast has a lot of Italians, southwest has a lot of Mexicans). I would post a question about Mexican restaurants in the Danbury area over on Chowhounds.com's New England Board. There are a lot of peole there who know restaurants and they will be able to give you their opinions on the Mexican restaurants in the Danbury area. Jay

Well we have lived alot of places and there has always been alot of mexican places to eat. We have never lived in the southwest but I bet the mexican there is great. We are in the southeast and we have all kinds of different restaurants to eat at. With all the relos to the northeast I would think there would be a need to have a little variation. Italian is fine but not all the time.
