Default Traffic from Stamford to Ryebrook?

Hi,
what is the traffic like from stamford to the ryebrook area?
is it better to take 95 or the merritt?

Depends on what's going on traffic-wise (good to check a traffic cam or listen to the reports). There's rarely any traffic on the Merritt past Stamford, and I can usually fly into NY from there very quickly. On 95, you can sometimes still hit traffic. Either way, it's not terrible unless there's an accident, IMHO.

Traffic from Stamford to Greenwich on 95 and merritt will be heavy in the morning, but you should be OK past that. going across downtown Stamford to the Merritt can be a real time waster in the morning(navigating to High Ridge or Long Ridge Road) if you live closer to the I95 side. So it depends where you live as well.
