My power just went out around 5 am in Wilton. Lots of rain, and there have been some wind gusts. But mostly rain.

That's not THAT bad, it'll get worse. Sound regularly gets waves like that in the center during storms.

I'm at Stamford and power went out at 5am, thou only in my circuit because down the street the light are still on. Right now we're getting the strongest wind gusts thus far. From now til noon we're suppose to get the worst conditions, lets see what happens.

Our power has been flickering for hours. I couldn't sleep all night, we had huge trees crashing all around us. Every gust of wind had me bolting upright. Thankfully the trees have missed us so far, but one tree did land on a house, maybe more, I haven't been around the neighborhood. Just taking the dog out with our own huge trees swaying dangerously was scary enough. I made her do her business without delay.

I just took my dog for a walk too about 20 minutes ago, rain would ebb, then pound. tree branches everywhere, but nothing too big. supposedly the worst of the weather is between now and 11 am today here by the shore.
