Super 7 can't be completed now because the state doesn't own the land anymore. Also, Super 7 would only add to the congestion on 95, as people from (the no-man's land part) of Fairfield county would now be able to commute easily toward Stamford. The only fix for this problem, is massive additions to 95 and the Merritt, combined with parking improvements to all train stations. Neither is ever happening.

why cant 95 ever get better? i absoutely love driving 95 and will NEVER commute on the merritt but will it EVER be better?

1) Because their not adding any lanes and
2) Even if they did add 1 lane in each direction, there's not really anywhere to put it between the NY/CT border and New Haven.
