I'm not sure if I mentioned this earlier, but I agree that Stony Creek is quite beautiful. Hopefully the Trolley Trail will be expanded.

How about Weston? Nice and peaceful, great schools and a surprisingly quick commute to other parts of Fairfield County, partly because you aren't dependent on 95 or the Parkway. I work in Stamford and just take back roads if the Merritt stops moving...You also get beach rights (for a fee)in Westport as a Weston resident.

It is a very nice town but nothing's really there. Devil's Den is nice. Weston is mostly woods and homes. Not a bad thing - nice place to live, but I think there are towns that offer a little more of that X-factor that makes them unique.

If you need to work in NYC from CT and want to be as isolated as possible, it's a superb choice.
