My wife & I swear by CT Valley Winery in New Hartford, the wines we sampled were delicious! Typically we go wine sampling once a year & then get one bottle from each vineyard we visit. From this one, we bought four. I am impressed w/ the Litchfield county wineries the wine is good, the people are friendly and not too snobby & the scenery is beautiful. But you should look on the ct wine trail most stops have a website that shows what they are known for so you can figure it out.

Besides the ones mentioned here (Stonington, Sharpe Hill) don't forget the one in Colechester Priam Vineyards.

We've decided to go to Gouveia in Wallingford next week. I'll let everyone know how it is.
