Any recommendations for good antique shops that are close together? I'm wanting to search some, as I'm looking for some antique old style large luggage. I've never antique shopped before, so I'm not sure where to go to look.

Don't know where you're located or how far you like to drive- but :

Clinton has a string of several antique shops located along its Main St - all within a very short walk to each other.

Old Saybrook has a another string of antique shops along Middlesex Turnpike ( aka Ct. Rt 154- just outside of town center) and several more in town.

And if you're up to a drive, the town Putnam, way up in northeast CT, has a whole antique shop district in town. Very interesting place to visit- the town is trying to reinvent itself as an antique shop destination.

If you go out to Collinsville in Canton there is a large multi-dealer shop in one of the old axe factories. American Antiques furniture, glass and lighting, Silver, China, Clocks and antique accessories

If you drive out to New Hartford you'll find the original Collinsville Antiques Company, where they relocated to a few years ago (from the above mentioned axe factory). Again, a multi-dealer place so lots to see. The Collinsville Antiques Co. of New Hartford

They're probably within about 20 minutes or so of each other, so it would be worth it to visit both on the same day.

+1 on Putnam! It's pretty cool what they're doing up there. It's a nice ride up and there's lot's of shops to look at.

Seymour has quite a few in their downtown area. I'd focus there and then head to Woodbury if you can't find what you're looking for.
