This is some BS that I found... Transportation and Parking Commission STOP Signs

What a crock of pure BS... VA would NEVER go for this and you WOULD absolutely get a ticket for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign

IDK I think you might be overstating this just a bit. The way you are describing it people just whip out of side streets and parking lots. If that was the case we would have multiple fatalities all over the region on a daily basis and that just doesn't happen. Do you want people to stop and count to ten before moving again? If there is a space i am going no stopping needed.

I love CT, but I agree that it has some shockingly bad drivers.

Actually, it would be nice if they stopped before they pulled out... And I'm not overstating anything... People have whipped out of parking lots like mad men

I've never been to Boulder, but lived north of LA for awhile. Once you get out of the immediate LA area, it slows WAY down and becomes relaxing and actually fun to drive. Cars driving 70-75, not cutting you off, not pulling in front of you, no unnecessary braking, polite but not TOO polite (NC); cruise control being used when possible. LA city limits, down to about Manhattan Beach - it's like the stretch from NYC --> New Haven.

But worse than CT? Hell no. You really need to live somewhere away from the Northeast, then come back to understand it. It's eye-opening.

Don't you love the fools who you see coming from a side street, and gun it through the stopsign just to pull out in front of you? Nowhere have I seen that other than the Northeast. Nowhere.

As Headedwest used to say, CT has a "MFFY" mentality. (Me First, F-You). So true.

I've seen similar here in CT but there is always a sign that says "Oncoming traffic has delayed green". There are a couple in West Hartford actually.

Out of curiosity, are the stop lights old or the new ones with LEDs like most of the ones in CT? If new, I can't see why they wouldn't order one with an arrow?
