There was another bad accident on 95 South last night. Fire trucks, multiple ambulances, police galore. This was in the Darien area, exit 12 if I remember right. Looked like they had it narrowed to one lane. Poor evening rush south bound travelers.

I know this is not really merrit related but it does have some stop signs at some ramps but this is more in a few towns I drive in Norwalk, Greenwich, Stamford..

Why are so many people treating Stop signs as yield now?

Say like they see you coming and they are coming up to a sign sign they just roll right out in front of you.. in a quick motion.

Most of the other traffic stuff does not bother me but this just irks me. How is waiting an extra 3 seconds going to kill you?

Same for those people in town riding your rear when you are doing the speed limit (high ridge road & long ridge)

Speaking of that I got rear ended on thurs. of last week at the corner of the RBS building just as the ramp goes onto 95-S

I stopped because the car in front of me stopped for a person crossing and I saw in the corner of my eye a person coming up behind me.. since I had no place to really go I was hit.. lucky for me it was slow speed about 2-3 MPH guy was from NJ.

At 5am there was a Tactor trailer accident on I-95 Southbound at exit 35 in Milford. The center and right lanes were blocked.... traffic was backing up into exit 36.

Not sure how accurate the 2 Hour Delay is but Exit 17 to 13 is not a short stretch.

In any Case, taking over 20 minutes to travel 3 miles on an interstate highway should tell the story.

I think he read it wrong, I think it means that there will be traffic there for 2 hours, not that you'll be stuck in it for 2 hours.
