There are so many times I have my turn signal on and some **** won't let me into the lane. In fact he matches my speed.

That happened to me getting on 95-N on the ramp in Greenwich.. wassnt doing anything.. my car is a manual so I downshifted and went to move over and the guy was matching my speed to the point where I was forced into the breakdown lane..

I mean really?? What the hell was the point of that?? I always joke with my passenger saying what's the rush?? We are going in the same direction.. Or cutting in front of a bunch of cars and then they get stuck or whatever.

I think the guy was from NY or whatever but still..

I also saw it again today 95-S getting on the ramp from West Ave in Stamford.. traffic was heavy and a box truck was getting on.. AGAIN they force the truck to drive in the breakdown lane until someone FINALLY let the truck in as it got to the bridge area..

Geez people no one is trying to make your day a living hell by just getting on the highway like you are.

Just to rebuttal that. You're right and there's all different situations but notice what happens next time someone is going 10 mph slower then traffic or under speed limit, watch all the cars get in front of that car. Whether its from a side street or on the highway; it starts to back everything up behind them.

One senario is, I had a guy doing 20 in a 30..patient as I was I watched him go through a yellow light and I got caught at the red. So then I watched him go through the green light up ahead and guess what happened to me... that light ahead turned red. So essentially we're going in same direction but its his fault I was running 5-10 minutes behind now. (cars built up within that time frame). Not to mention it altered my life design. lol

But yeah, its frustrating because there's too many minds, cars, and opinions on the road. One day we wont have to use our own judgements.

I-95 through SW Connecticut is pretty brutal. Slow. Congested. Construction that seems to never end. Almost as bad as the 22 miles (or so) of I-95 through New York.

A lot of things dont make sense on the roads but this one is just irritating. There is room on the right to expand this section. The exit ramp builds up to the point where cars are stopped in the right lane on an Interstate.

So traffic is flowing smoothly and all of a sudden, BAM, your stopped in the right lane while the 2 left lanes are still moving smoothly.

I've seen a ton of accidents right here alone.

There's plenty of room to make an exit lane!

I was stuck in this nightmare this morning. I got to Exit 42 at 7:00.......and got to Exit 38 at 7:54 !!!!!!
1 hour to go a short distance. I didnt even see the accident the tow trucks were just getting off the exit ahead. I know it was an accident but it was crazy how long it took to get from 42 to 38. My 1 hour commute turned into 2 hours.
And wouldnt you know that as soon as all of the cars were up to speed limit, there was a jackass up my butt. I was doing 73 mph mind you and this moron was trying to push me out of the way. There were cars in fron and on the sides......there was nowhere for anyone to move to.......why cant people just drive normal? 8 times out of 10 its a person in a Benz or a BMW........must be that "I'm rich sense of entitlement"!!!!
