1 hour to go a short distance. I didnt even see the accident the tow trucks were just getting off the exit ahead. I know it was an accident but it was crazy how long it took to get from 42 to 38. My 1 hour commute turned into 2 hours.
I'd love to know what took so f****ng long for the wrecker. The accident apparently occurred ~6:30, i finally passed by it @7:45, and the 2 vehicles were still there in the left lane.

So traffic is flowing smoothly and all of a sudden, BAM, your stopped in the right lane while the 2 left lanes are still moving smoothly.

I've seen a ton of accidents right here alone.

There's plenty of room to make an exit lane!

I was in that crap this morning.. It was pretty much slow from riverside to exit 3 south... every friken morning cars are always backed up on the road because people getting off that exit...

then you have the traffic light at the end of the ramp which is probably still set to timing from 20 years ago taking forever to turn to clear the ramp.. it sucks how short these ramp lights are but the intersection lights for the town are so long.

I had wanted to go to McDonalds on the post road but I ended up getting off exit 2 then taking the long way to it.

I'm not sure if that light is still like this, because my experience was during last oct-nov.

However, the "no right turn" sign at that intersection would be lit at 5 30 am, when there was NO traffic.... talk about annoying.

that sign is lit 24/7 Funny thing is people still turn right all the time..

I would watch out is a cop on a motorcycle for the town is noticed for hiding just under the bridge to the left to catch people that do that..

The light is still like this I almost get off it if it's not backed up on the highway.

The crazy thing was on some days it's no problem at all.. I don't get it.

No Turn on Red (NTOR) is usually not turned on and off. It is usually a static sign that indicates turning right on red is not allowed at all times. This one is lite probably to gain people's attention coming off the highway. The use of NTOR is based on sight distances, unusual intersection geometry or accident history. If you feel the signal timing is not sufficent, then contact the local police department and let them know. If the signal is ConnDOT's they will loook at it and see if the timing is adequate for current traffic conditions. Jay

High Speed Chase on I-95. 2 Men tried to rob a store at 877 Post road in Westport with a crowbar. Police spotted them and the two men jumped in car and fled. They werent stopping for the Police so they jumped on I-95. They tried to push the Cop cars off the highway. They then crashed in Port Chester and the two men fled on foot.

NY Plates. When are we getting that Border put up on that line?

Heads up guys. Merrit north in Greenwich. 3 vehicles. Van with busted windows facing wrong way from spinning out. Just happened. Paramedics not there yet. Looks like both lanes were blocked.

It was actually 2 cars and actually Stamford. Maybe the 3rd car was a witness or someone helping out.

Typical Morning Traffic in SWCT. This was live a moment ago. Southbound jam packed for 15-20 miles. Northbound running smoothly.
