I wouldn't doubt it.

It took me exactly one hour to get from Stratford to Branford on Saturday afternoon. No accident.

I go out to get some milk so I stop at CVS real quick...There was a long line in there. So I turned around. I finally found a gas station. Then I hop on Merrit and had to hit the brakes and slow down to 25mph. The other side was standstill for a small section.

Population is OUT OF CONTROL in Fairfield. Its after 10pm and there are a ton of cars on the road. I'm curious When can I go out where I dont see any cars. 1-2am only??

Cam, I came back from Stamford a couple Fridays ago at like 12 AM, and there was hardly anyone on the Merritt.

But I'm sure the vehicles that you did encounter all had their high beams on.

There's no reason for that except construction. They're doing a lot of it at odd hours right now on the Merritt.

Just always amazed at the amount of volume in the area even after 10pm. Even Route 7 had a ton of cars on it but getting into wilton much much less.

I-95 southbound exit 4 accident. Backed up since exit 5-6. Rubber necking on northbound side.

Cambium, I really enjoy your posts. I very much feel your pain--lived in Stamford for quite awhile until I decided enough was enough and decided to be done with the FFC lunacy.

Here's I-84 in the Hartford region, around the same time.....

I got into work about 11:30 AM (Merritt go traffic), found a check I went to deposit at the bank a couple feet up route 1 no more than 5 minutes after I got into the office. Took about 5 mins for me to take the left into the bank bc all the 95 traffic went into route 1 at that point.
