Default Stamford - apartments

I am currently working in Stamford and I am looking to move into the city. I am trying to find a decent place for my first apartment. During my research it seems like I am going to have to spend around 1800 per month for a 1 bedroom. I am a male late 20s and looking for some recommendations for a place. Any help is very much appreciated!

Thanks

Stamford is one of the most expensive cities in the country, but you should be able to find something for a little less as prices have come down a little with the economy. Where in Stamford will you be working? Do you want to live in a complex or a duplex/apartment? If you want a luxury complex, you will pay a lot.

You can get an older 1BR for about $1500 these days. A small, older studio for $1100-$1400. For $1800, you should be able to get a pretty nice 1BR that's been updated. No luxury though, that comes at a cost in Stamford.
