I got caught in that traffic Friday nite too...went to Milford for a wake which was jammed with people, then it was a three hour odyssey for me to get home to Eastern CT!

It was the worst traffic jam I have ever experienced.

Me too, without a doubt. Frankly, I don't know how people deal with it on a daily basis. I would go nuts if I had to drive in that!

Tetto, I live in the apartment building next to that funeral home, I could only imagine how people were trying to get there felt! Downtown was super packed with the I-95 incident and the wake...

Friday was completely out of the ordinary. On a normal Friday, you would have had no problem going west on 95 and downtown Milford never has traffic.

The only traffic I ever experience on Fridays is on 95 in Westport and Fairfield, sometimes a little in Bridgeport. Traffic in Stratford or Milford on 95 is VERY rare. Traffic does pick up in West Haven usually to the Q bridge.

I'm not saying it's a good commute, but Friday was insane compared to normal.

Well, it took me 25-30 mins to get home, when it usually takes me about 5 mins...but we just walked to the local establishment to help with the Friday headache
