Black Friday animals! Walmart video game brawl and subsequent police tazing as well as a violent purse snatching at old navy! What is wrong with people?

What makes you think this kind of behavior is limited strictly to Milford? My guess is you forgot about that poor WalMart employee who was literally trampled to death 3 years ago out on Long Island. This is Black Friday, and some people would probably sacrifice their firstborn if it means saving 10 bucks, because this is America and nothing is more sacred than a bargain. And it's beacause of this kind of mercenary behavior that I absolutely refuse to shop the day after Thanksgiving.

Mike-

Memories remain fresh and vivid re: the LI "expressway" stampede. I just expected more from Milford.

The people who did this might not even live in Milford. Malls attract people from all over, and oftentimes the troublemakers who make the police blotter don't even live in town. You see the same thing up here, too: WestFarms Mall (located in Farmington and West Hartford) routinely draws people who get arrested for shoplifting from places like Sears and Sephora every week, yet nearly single person arrested is some lowlife from out of town, usually Hartford.

Yep, we get them in Manchester too and unfortunately with all the retail here it skews the "theft" figures for the actual town.

It's not about "teenagers" at the mall etc, that's always been. These are hard street thugs just coming to turn the mall into Albany ave for a few hours. I was blown away one Sat night when we just popped into the mall for something quick. I was greeted with security guards in a gallop, thugs all over the place with the Manchester police subduing one pair of people and the security putting another in zip ties. WTF?

I wrote an entire post and had to delete it... Got too detailed and too opinionated.

Traffic and Mennaces to society are the most aggravating.

- The problem with this is that there are a**holes everywhere. The more you go out and the more you interact with people, the more a**holes you will encounter. 7 BILLION

Well, just think - it's about to get worse here in WH once that retarded busway gets completed. Why, with easier access from New Bri'in, or Hoodford, the dregs of society will be able to commit even MORE theft and petty crimes (while 84 will remains as congested as ever). I know I feel good about the future!
