Hello Again!

So I just started a thread looking for advice on a movie theater but also we'd like to get some fish and chips before the show....anyone recommend a good place for that? We're looking mostly for something in Bloomfield, Avon, Simsbury, West Hartford, possibly Manchester as we may be going up there for the movie OR we're going to the Bow Tie Cinemas in Hartford.....

Thanks!
Dawn

Yelp is the best tool to find such things, but nothing is coming up specifically for fish and chips joints.

The best I've had in CT are Westfair Fish & Chips in Westport and Seven Seas in Milford.

Fish and chips Bloomfield

Seven Seas is good, but Lenny and Joe's in Madison is far better IMO. Not sure if you've been but it's worth the trip.

Nope, I'll try on the way to the outlets.

City Fish in Wethersfield is the best around. They supply fish to all the major restaurants in the area and have buyers out buying their fish right off the boats in all the major ports in the region. I am not sure of their hours though. Jay

Thanks JayCT and DandJ we'll be sure to give that place a try! I saw it on Yelp too and it had some good reviews. Tonight we're headed to Plainville after all so maybe next time we head out that way

I know the Bloomfield 8 cinemas is cheap for movie tickets, dunno about the Hartford one, never been there. Just thought I'd let you know ;D

But good luck finding your fish n chips, I'd help ya with that but I haven't lived in Bloomfield for 12 years.

Their fish and chips is too greasy for my taste. They do have an excellent supply of fresh seafood but I'd opt to cook it at home.
