You might try a trip to one of the casinos which are nearby. And we love eating at Abbotts in Noank. It is a small waterfront seafood place right on the water. Very beautiful and very very casual. Great fresh seafood with lobster their specialty. Jay

Mystic Pizza makes a decent pizza. Avoid the Steak Loft...it looks like it should be good, but the service is awful and the food barely passable. Don't bring a client there.
Check out Mystic Seaport.
Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Seaâ„¢ : Home It's bigger than it looks and there is so much to see.
I heard good things about Abbots in Noank.
Welcome to Abbott's Lobster in Noank CT! We drove by on a Sunday night and couldn't believe the crowd.
And take some time and check out Noank - very charming. Don't bring the Hummer - very narrow streets.
My next time in the area I'm going to visit the submarine museum.
