i'd like to know what you call people who live here - Connectikites? Connecticutters? i don't think there is one possibility that actually rolls off the tongue like 'Rhode Islanders'..

btw, i'm another one in the kuh-neh-ta-kit camp.

I don't know that there's an actual official name, but I've heard the term 'cutters' used to describe townie types with deep roots in CT. I've also personally used the term 'connecticutians' but that is for my own amusement only
