If you get a moment, please go online to the Meriden Animal Shelter and read about Joey Pepper. He is a beautiful purebred Boxer who was born with front legs he cannot use. He has become quite a star. He was tossed to one side by the breeder who was going to freeze him to death when he was born because of his deformity. A kind soul rescued him and he now has won the hearts of a lot of folks in the Meriden area and has learned to scoot along on his bad front legs. The shelter folks have also purchased him a doggie wheel chair. He is a beautiful boy and his heartwarming story will win your hearts. I am a HUGE animal rescoue advocate with 3 pets my husband and I have rescued, one my little pit bull Alice who is the gentlest soul ever.

Poor little guy, he's adorable. I love boxers; I'll reach out and try to find him a family.

Default Joey Pepper

I do believe the director at the animal shelter is going to adopt Joey Pepper and the little guy has tons of people who adore him me included. I met his "Godfather" who takes him from time to time. He had set up a donation station outside Stop and Shop so my husband and I donated amd spent some time talking about Joey with him. It is a sad story but the love this beautiful little guy is getting is amazing.
