Default Transportation to/from Milford.

Hi there...

I got a job in Milford. I reside in Hamden. I need to know how can I go, everyday, to Milford then come back home to Hamden. Any advices, sugesstions or help ?

Is there any kind of train, subway, bus that I can take ?

You can drive or take the bus to Union Station in New Haven and take the Metro North train into Milford (it is the next stop). It drops you off in downtown Milford, not sure where your work is located in Milford but you may need to find transportation on that end too.

Other than that, you can take the bus to New Haven and transfer buses, though once again depending where in Milford you are working, buses may not run in that area.

You can look at the Metro North website for train schedules or the CT Transit website for bus schedules.

You could also check out Rideshare which is an organization that arranges car pools for people. I do not think there is any direct bus service from Hamden to Milford (certainly no subway or train). Jay
