Oh wow Linda. Shays should drop out because 60% of the "machine" voted for you?

Take the hint from the last time lady. CT doesn't want you.

"Former wresting executive Linda McMahon, who won the Connecticut Republican Party's endorsement for a second campaign for U.S. Senate, said Sunday that GOP rival Christopher Shays should drop out of the race.
Appearing on WFSB-TV's "Face the State," McMahon said that because she won more than 60 percent of the 1,208 delegates on Friday, Shays should quit so Republicans can be unified against Democrats in the fall.............."

I would not object to a Republican senator (I'm an independent, so I'm less concerned with party lines and more interested in the substance of a candidate), but I'm not a fan of McMahon. When a rookie comes in, with little or no prior experience as a public servant, and says "I'm gonna come in and change things", I have a hard time taking them or their ideas seriously. We need a fiscal conservative more than anything right now, it seems.

I can't believe the Connecticut Republican Party were bought again. Almost makes me want to change to a Democrat. Then again after what Malloy pushed through with the death penalty repeal, maybe I will just go independent. Anyway I will be voting in the Primary and it won't be for McMahon. Jay

Well, you lost this Democratic vote too. I would have voted for Shays in a heartbeat over the Dem. I think Shays is pragmatic and provides great representation and balance in the Senate. But, no, again Linda will not get my vote.

I am a registered Republican (changing after this election cycle) and I am friends/family with quite a few other CT Republicans. I am not voting for Linda in the primary and I do not have any other friends/family who will be voting for her either. Given the debacle of the last primary/debate season, only 1 person I know wants to vote for her. Shays may not be the best candidate ever, but he is certainly better than McMahon. Let's hope CT Republicans learned their lesson the last time around and will vote for Shays this year.

Same goes for me. I'd like a fresher face than Shays', but i'll take him over Linda. If Linda wins the primary, this Republican will be voting for Murphy....

I'm very glad that Linda is back and with a vengeance. Even if I decide to vote Democrat 100% across the ballot this November, I will make an exception and vote for Linda. She deserves it.

I know of someone who is active in the political realm and went to the West Hartford town hall and dug up some very ugly dirt on Linda. All public info, but her fake story about being bankrupt etc is just that fake.

I saw the documents with my own eyes here is his quick run down of the docs:
Linda McMahon buys 4 acre estate on prestigious Orchard Rd in West Hartford for $10 in 1974

Linda loses the estate and sticks everyone October 26,1976 . Most of the general public believe Lindas Fake Story on TV

November 24,1976- 26 days after losing her Orchard Rd West Hartford 4 acre estate while on Food Stamps Linda puts down $22,500 cash on Stoner Mansion Back lot Instead of paying the IRS over $43k they owe for period of 76-77 Linda puts down $22,500 cash (from where she gets it is a mystery) on November 24,1976

Linda McMahon 4 months later on March 15,1977 without a job gets a loan in her name only( Vince added later)from Mattatuck Bank in Waterbury. After Foreclosure and Bankruptcy in 76 who gets a $90,000 Construction Loan without a job on food stamps in their name only ? More coming
He's got the paperwork:

That's just scratching the surface. They are dirty people who will sell even their own daughters booty on live TV for a buck.

Yeah, there was a front-page story about them yesterday in the Courant that pretty much stated everything you were saying. Can't say I'm surprised.

Is that Joe Visconti in the photo attachment? He used to be a town councilman of ours and he lives in my neighborhood.

Why? Cause she has the money to buy votes and thinks she does not need any local or state experience to gain a naitonal office? Not in my book. Jay
