The commute from West Hartford to Windsor should not be bad depending on where in West Hartford you end up living and where in Windsor he will be working. The trip would be mostly local road through Bloomfield and none of them are particularly a problem. I would just avoid getting on the highway and going through Hartford which is difficult in the morning and evening rush hour.

Renting from private landlords is really not much different than renting from a large company. It may be a little more personal and a little less professional. It really depends on the landlord. I would not really worry about it. Jay

How is it about renting townhomes / homes from private people? How would the maintenance issues be tackled? Can you please list the advantage and disadvt for renting from private people. I have always lived in apartments and dont know much about renting from private people.

How is the commute from West Hartford to Windsor?

Thanks

WH to Windsor is cake. Just head up RT218.

Renting from private parties can have it's advantages and disadvantages...it all depends on the owner really. Some us a third part management company which again, can be a good or bad thing.
