Out of the three, I like Danielson the best. It has a better center and just overall feels more complete to me.

I've really been digging Columbia lately.

Well, aside from the gangs, drug lords and piles of government housing it's not bad.

The only thing "bad" you'll find there is the smell of dung at the Danielson fair.

Nothing in Sterling- why bother ? You'd have a long drive for anything

Moosup is not a town- it's a section of the town of Plainfield. if you're going to look in Moosup, then you could as easily look in Plainfield center, Central Village and Wauregan- all of which, like Moosup, are part of Plainfield. Why limit yourself just to Moosup.

Danielson is not a town, it's part of the town of Killingly. If you're going to look in Danielson, then you could as easily look in the nicer sections of Killingly, like Dayville & East Killingly. Again, no need to limit yourself to just one section of town.

Danielson, in and of itself is not terrible. The rundown , congested, heavy apartment sections are mostly along Main St. west to Maple. The rest is pretty much suburban.

Personally I'd pick Killingly over the others. I find Plainfield depressing and Sterling is just too small and too far out there.

Killingly at least is near route 6 , which is more recently developed with stores and is more convenient. .

Sorry to pry, but you've started a lot of threads about that area with similar questions. Are you moving there?

I think Sterling is the nicest out of the three, but it is definitely the least convenient. There are no real stores in town, except for a few tiny shops and a pizza restaurant in the center. Plainfield is okay, and Killingly is the most convenient for sure. There is Target, Stop & Shop, Aldi, and many more major stores. I think there's a Home Depot also, not sure. It also has easier highway access to I-395. Danielson - a section within Killingly - is charming, yet depressing at the same time. Seems like there are homeless and pediphiles walking around, and sex offenders. The average person in northeastern CT is definitely weirder compared to the average CT person, from what I've seen and interacted with. My dad, who is a bigtime real estate investor in CT (he owns many multi-families, lots and commercial property; inspired by Donald Trump) has owned rental property in Moosup and had a horrible experience with white trash tenants never paying their rent, and causing the cops to show up every now and then. Maybe he just got unlucky, but yeah....that white trash element is definitely more prevalent out there...

Also, my dad owns land in Florida that is adjacent to land owned by the Donald.
