if this were a snowstorm right now we would have had an impressive convergence zone setting up..

Yup, I was jst about to post. Check out the position of the 997mb low. Prime spot for winter storms. 1-2" liquid would of been a 12-16" snowstorm. Check out that heavy band over MA. Wow.

But check out the temps this morning. Low 50s! Feels like fall out there with the wind.

Get ready for this..... are you all ready for an insane TidBit??

Bridgeport, CT (BDR) went from 6th Driest June on record to 3rd wettest June on record in just 7 days. .......

Yup.. June 1 to June 6 only had .84". That was the 6th Driest so far.

Then June 7 to June 14 we got 7.69" which is now the 3rd wettest June since records began 65 yrs ago.

BDL is 4th wettest with 8.93"
BDR is 3rd wettest with 8.53"

Latest Euro data for Danbury and Windsor Locks. I dont see any 80s to the 21st. Do you? The Euro monthlies show this might go on until Mid July. (meaning no upper 80s or heat waves in the 90s). Slow and steady semi seasonable temps.. No complaints here.

Good news is in the moisture column from the Euro showing little rain next 7 days.. That will probably change

Storm Update (last one)

Now there's a ying and yang for ya. So GFS has this wet coastal storm, Euro is dry with High Pressure lol

NWS Boston not buying the GFS this time and neither am I so its forget the storm unless Euro shows it.

MODELS IN GENERAL AGREEMENT ON OVERALL PATTERN THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A SERIES OF DISTURBANCES WILL BRING THREAT OF SHOWERS/TSTMS AT TIMES. THE GREATEST UNCERTAINTY IS IN THE TIMING OF THESE IMPULSES AND ASSOCD PRECIP IN FAST LOW AMPLITUDE FLOW. MODELS DIVERGE THEREAFTER WITH GFS LIKELY DEALING WITH CONVECTIVE FEEDBACK
ISSUES AS IT SPINS UP A CYCLONE FROM CONVECTIVE COMPLEX IN SOUTHERN PLAINS WHICH EVOLVES INTO STRONG COASTAL LOW FOR MID WEEK PERIOD. WE DISCOUNTED THIS SOLUTION AND LEANED TOWARD MORE STABLE ECMWF WHICH SUPPORTS MAINLY DRY AND SEASONABLE CONDITIONS FOR THE MIDDLE AND END OF THE WEEK.

Can we bottle up today's weather and uncork it during late July/early August?

Yeah, I agree, Wow this is nice.

Blue skies with a couple of Spotty Cumulus clouds above. Light NW breeze, temps steady in the mid 70s.. While the sun is too warm, I'm in the shade and loving every minute of this. Oh...how can I forget to mention, dewpoints in the 40! Dry!
