850 MB TEMPS DROPPING BELOW 10C BEHIND THE COLD FRONT WILL RESULT IN TEMPS SEVERAL DEGREES BELOW NORMAL TODAY . HIGH TEMPS WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 70S ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN...TO THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 70S ELSEWHERE WITH COMFORTABLE HUMIDITY LEVELS. WILL SEE A MIXTURE OF CLOUDS AND SUN TODAY...BUT A PERIOD OF MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES MAY OCCUR ACROSS THE INTERIOR. THIS A RESULT OF SOME STRATO- CUMULUS CLOUDS WORKING IN BEHIND THE COLD FRONT.

LOW TEMPS SHOULD BOTTOM OUT IN THE MIDDLE 40S IN THE NORMALLY COOLEST OUTLYING LOCATIONS. EVEN THE URBAN HEAT ISLANDS OF BOSTON/PROVIDENCE SHOULD SEE LOWS BOTTOM OUT IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 50S . SOME PATCHY GROUND FOG MAY DEVELOP IN THE TYPICALLY PRONE LOCATIONS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE INTERIOR. THURSDAY... HIGH PRESSURE IN CONTROL WILL RESULT IN MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND A BEAUTIFUL DAY. AFTER A COOL START...PLENTY OF SUNSHINE SHOULD ALLOW HIGHS TO RECOVER INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S ACROSS THE INTERIOR HIGH TERRAIN AS WELL AS THE CAPE/ISLANDS.
