We got some showers and small storms yesterday, it was hard to make any outdoor plans. The sun would come out then suddenly it would cloud over and look threatening again. So far today doesn't look too promising, either. And I will admit I would like a break from the humidity. Between the showers and humidity it's just too icky to do anything.

It does feel like the Amazon out there this morning. I just saw a lizard on the front porch - lol.

It should get much nicer once the front pulls through on Tuesday; After that, sunny and mild weather return to the Tri-State area = with temps 75 to 80 F, mild nights in the upper 50's/low 60's and wall to wall sunshine. In fact, after Tuesday, we could see an extended dry pattern for awhile.

Yup.. Whenever you have high dewpoints and a tropical airmass, storms can easily just billow up and form. Kinda like mountain weather. Unpredictable but things can change fast. Air is rising and that helps create these storms. Until that High pressure moves in with drier air we'll keep getting these storm chances and fog like conditions.

The 500mb heights Bottom Left is great example of the fight going on for the past 2 months between these fall like Troughs and the Bermuda High.

Current conditions.. Check out BDR dewpoint . 75°

Yeah, same feelings here. August was going great, until this last week+ of downright soupy weather has made me say good riddance. Labor Day weekend has been a complete disaster...no dry window to go on a nice bike ride.

BDR and SNC in CT Dewpoint 75°F.

The closest spot with 75+ DPs is in Delaware & Virginia! VERY Tropical here! You can feel the moisture in the air.

Dewpoint and Satellite map with the radar.
