Now snowing in NYC with blizzard conditions in the 5 Boroughs. 1/2 mile visibility. Looks like most of it is done for CT for now except the central and eastern part
Well LaGuardia did it (joining JFK airport earlier this month) as OKX is officially saying 0.2" fell there. They haven't said whether Central Park (or BDR for that matter) had a T vs. measurable.

BDR only had snow for quick burst (less than half hour)
BDL snowed for 2 hours (maybe on & off?)
Danbury for an hour
LGA for an hour but heavy enough to accumulate

Couple forecast graphics for Wed.

Snow line a bit further to the south on the latest 0Z GFS model. Mountains could do quite well, although temps are borderline..

Absolutely incredible the force of this airmass.
Just had a 51mph wind gust. Sustained at 24.
Temp 27° wind chill of 12° 12:10am.

Storm Update:

GFS has flipped the switch and went up the coast. Rain/snow line south more than Euro. Like Granitestater said Higher elevations/mountains do well however snow does end up happening for many areas around I-90 north.

Whats crazy is that it shows surface temps hovering in mid 30s with rain in CT.

Unless your travelling on Wednesday there's nothing to lose sleep over with this storm.

It snowed here in Glastonbury tonight and we are not that high up from the river. Channel 3 did not perdict that this morning. They said only higher elevations. Jay

Current Temps and Wind Chill values across the area. Winds still gusting to 35mph here and feels like 7°F outside. Be safe out there. Layer up.

November 27, 2013 Storm Update::

Crunch time now. As I said by 7pm Sunday we would know better. Now that the players are closer to the U.S models are injesting better data. As you can see, they all agree its coming up the coast and the Low will be near the coast. (This can still change 100-200 miles but it's Rain for coastal plain and snow for interior.

Starts Tuesday night. Everything gets heavy Wednesday morning to Wednesday evening. So if you're travelling I suggest doing it Tuesday, not Wednesday if you have the choice.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 2-4" of snow somewhere in CT. Details like that that will be known better by Monday afternoon.

Snow Totals from latest Models mid next week. Canadian the warmest and snowless. My opinion is Someone is getting a snowstorm out of this but will be north of I-90
