There are 2 styles of the procedure now so anyone who had an evaluation for the original style may have been told they were too old, vision was too bad, pupils too large etc. The new style is blameless LASIK, more expensive, more precise, and can have follow up corrections. My wife had the blade less 2 years ago through Middlesex eye/dr schreiver (sp?). She's had no complications and hasn't needed an adjustment. Within 12 hours bandages were off she could see great...prior she was unable to see more than a colored blur without corrective lenses. I've been considering it for myself...the follow up appointments and the level of care with Middlesex eye was superb, highly recommend.
