The insurers are going to reap a bonanza. After all, they wanted it this way - no public option, taxpayer money going to pay premiums for everyone. They are going to make SO much money - enough to the pay CEOs 40 million/year - oh wait, they already do that now.

Shame on Senator Lieberman for having torpedoed the public option.

The only hope is to get the whitehouse and congress in November and overturn it. Roberts, very well may be smart like a fox because now that's it declared a tax, it only takes 51 votes to overturn.

That's nice. Now ask the 82% if they would mind paying a bit more to offset the unusual high expenses of those with said conditions. I'm not saying I would object; I would not if the cost increase was minor. But if any of the 82% said "Do not charge me any more", they are hypocrites.
