if you are actually willing to look at windsor locks, there should be something there, then as far as west hartford, the TRICK is to look in between west hartford and hartford, it's a magical in between. like start at west farms mall, drive the main stretch back towards hartford, and try to find an area you like before it starts to look sketchy. we always loved some of the neighborhoods in that section, close to the mall, and close to bloomfield, that in between of west hartford.

I think you are talking about the Elmwood section of West Hartford. Stay west of the train tracks in that area. It does get sketchy to the east of them Jay
