its off American Lane (in the extreme western corner of Greenwich) is separated by Interstate 684 from the entire rest of Connecticut and can be reached only from New York State.
Round Hill, with an elevation of more than 550 feet (170 m), was a lookout point for the Continental Army during the American Revolution. The Manhattan skyline is visible from the top of the hill

You maybe thinking of different things. American Lane is not where Round Hill is. The top of Round Hill, where the elevation is 550' and where there are distant views of the Sound & NYC skyline is off Round Hill Rd. itself. Round Hill Rd. is to the east of the area you're describing.

The highest point of Round Hill, with the views, is near where Round Hill Rd. intersects with John St. & Burying Hill Rd. Check internet maps and find that spot. The area on Round Hill Rd., just north of John St and just before Burying Hill Rd. is that 550' elevation or so and is the historic section of the area.

Unfortunately, I think it's all privately owned. I don't know if there are any bike trails/ hiking paths through the area. You might want to give the town rec center a phone call on Monday to see if there is any public view point access up there.

On American Lane, the only I can think of that is there is a movie studio. Good luck, sounds like a fun way to spend the day.
