This is my first post here, so I apologize if this has already been answered. I did a search but couldn't find anything.

I am moving to New Haven (downtown, College St.) in a month. My apartment does not have its own lot/structure and there are two garages (Crown and another) nearby. According to the parking authority, there are no more monthly permits available ANYWHERE. What are my options for long-term parking? I know there are residential permits, but can't tell if the residential parking areas are anywhere nearby. If I do get a residential permit, how will I know when I have to move the car for sweeping/plowing?

I am coming from North Carolina and did not realize I would have to get a permit so far in advance.

If the Park New Haven does not have any monthly parking available, you should try the other parking operators. They are Propark 860-527-2378 or LAZ parking. There are also several smaller operators as well.
