Milford is a very nice small city located between New Haven and Bridgeport. It has a great selection of shops (including a regional mall), restaurants and entertainment options. There is a nice small downtown with a train station that offers commuting train service to New York City (around 90 minutes to Grand central). Milford has excellent parks and beaches and a lot of family related activities. The schools are very good with Connecticut Mastery Test scores above the state average and reasonable class sizes (around 20 students per class). There is a wide range of housing options in Milford from apartments to large single-family homes. Milford has long been a lower cost alternative to high priced Fairfield County. Hope that helps, Jay
