While I agree Ridgefield is a great town, I am a bit perplexed by the quaintness statement. Ridgefield is less quaint than Wilton or Weston.

I disagree; there aren't many towns in the Northeast that have the quaintness of Ridgefield. Oh well, to each their own.

I agree regarding snow. For a short period of time one winter, I commuted from Putnam County NY to Westport through Ridgefield and Wilton, and there was a noticeable difference as the trip progressed. Nothing insane, though.

Ridgefield is really nice, low/no crime and lots of rich people there.

This is also one of our top choices - other is Wilton. I was there only a few weeks ago and it was my first time. How much do you need to earn in USD to be considered rich?

Not sure how it's less quaint than Wilton.

Weston is mainly just farmhouses, estates, mansions, woods, and various other single family homes. It doesn't have the charming town center than Ridgefield has. I'm not sure if quaint means rural in your case.

It's all so subjective.

"having an old-fashioned attractiveness or charm; oddly picturesque"

Using this definition: Ridgefield > Weston > Wilton > Westport

I don't find the big box stores and large plazas in Ridgefield particularly picturesque.

LOL, and the Outback Steakhouse/TJ Maxx and strip mall-central that makes up Wilton's downtown is? And boy, that massive YMCA fits right in with the character of the town, doesn't it?
