Sounds like southern Bethel taking the 53 is the way to go!

While we're all here, any opinions on schools in Danbury vs. Bethel? We're planning to start a family in the not too distant future.

Bethel has higher ranked schools largely due to socioeconomics. Danbury is far more diverse.

Bethel has good schools .... 53 is a nice road to take.. to 107 right to 7 with little traffic if any.

Bethel is definitely the way to go... Schools are solid.

Danbury schools are not "bad" by any means though.

I agree. I know a lot of people who went through Danbury schools and I wouldn't consider them terrible.

For similiar properties, sales prices are the same in Bethel compared to Danbury. The property taxes are higher in Bethel though.

Barely though. Mill rate is 24.03 in Bethel and Danbury is 22.45.
