Hello, guys

I just moved to darien, and I am thinking to change the old-oil tank to propane tank and use propane as fuel for hot water and heat ( we do not have natural gas in the neighborhood)

Can you recommend a propane company you guys use? I googled and found one called Hocon Gas, but hesitate to use it because poor reviews online (it may left by competitors though).

Thank you so much!

Am I missing something here ? You'll also have to change your oil furnace to a gas furnace or had you already planned on that.

We used Gault in Westport for the propane for our generator. Very pleasant to deal with and they took care of all the permits etc. They have been responsive, like when we needed them to move the tanks when we had to replace our well pump (the well head is close to the tanks). Also no problem scheduling a fill up during Sandy.

+1. GAULT is the only reliable propane supplier I know in the area. HOCON GAS doesnt even pick up their phones.

Any further info on this? I just had a tank installed by Air Solutions (I own the tank). Is Galt really the only option in Fairfield County?
