Does anyone have experience working with either an Attorney or Assessment Appeal service? I am looking for representation since my town is going through the revaluation process right now.

I have already done the first step in the process on my own, which involved meeting with a guy from the Vision Appraisal service that the town outsources the revaluation to. The meeting seemed to go well but I received a letter saying that there would be no change in my appraisal. This isn't really surprising. However, I plan to continue the process since I think I have a strong case that my property is assessed unfairly.

I know in NY there are services that will represent you for a portion of the savings that they are able to secure. Anything similar in CT? Any advice, etc. would be much appreciated.

thanks!
