Hi,
Can anyone recommend a Greenwich, CT petsitter who boards dogs in their home, or a doggie daycare? Thanks.

I've heard good things about Best Friends in Harrison, but that's not firsthand experience. Are you looking for more day rates or just to go on vacation, etc.?

Hi Kidyankee,

I'm looking for more of a day to day situation and someone who is good with a special needs dog (medical special needs that is). Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not sure. You might try posting an ad in the Greenwich Time or Stamford Advocate, or maybe even Craigslist. I'm sure you don't need the advisory, but just be careful as there are nutty people out there. You want your pal in the best hands possible.

We've taken our dog to Davis for boarding (connected to the Animal Hospital of Greenwich/Stamford). It's fine, but if your dog has special needs, I am not sure it's the best place for him. If you like/trust your vet, maybe ask him for a recommendation.

Thanks Kidyankee. Jax: Sounds like Davis might be good. He has heart problems and there are days that I will not be able to leave him alone. I'm going to check out Davis. I don't live in the area--but work there. Thanks. I was also thinking there might be someone who works from home or is retired who could just watch him on certain days. I guess Craigslist would be good for that.
