76mph Boston Logan airport

Hamden 19.5" already and not done

400,000 without power in MA

This is insane. The pink returns aren't rotating much, just sitting there and redeveloping with new ones forming

Looks like Connecticut is the focus of the heaviest snow for this storm?

just since my last post, all cars in the parking lot almost completely covered with snow. may take a few days to completely dig out at this rate. wonder if they'll close the schools for a week like they did in 78.

Where do you live? I'm in Fairfield and we haven't gotten much wind yet.

Branford. The wind and snow have been pretty unbelievable so far.

We must have close to 2 feet here right now. If not more? The cars in the driveway are literally buried.

Precipitation has stopped, at least for the moment, from Clinton out through Old Saybrook and up through Essex. Winds have died down, still blowing some but not bad.

Hard to tell how much snow has fallen so far, hours of ice pellets rather than snow is probably keeping inch numbers down.

In talking to family/friends seems most of East Lyme, Old Lyme, Lyme, Salem are out of power and have been since around 7:30 or so.

Friends in Northford ( North Branford) say they have a good 20" so far and still snowing. That area seems to be a snow magnet.

Lets hope the GFS is wrong again, we need at least a couple weeks after this one. Latest GFS has this all over again next week. Euro doesn't.

Upton officially off the charts now.
