Good to hear that, but WH has a travel ban in place, and besides, my own street & driveway are still totally blocked

Here in Milford our car was buried, and I can't even think of where to shovel snow to clear pathways. This is my first year in major snow since I lived in Denver (when I was a kid).

Still no sign of a plow at our condo complex. The main driveway is a half mile to the main road. That's a half mile of 30 inch covered road. I don't know how we are getting out of here to get to work. My bosses are cool but they ONLY got 12 inches at my job.......sometimes when people don't see things for themes, they have a tough time understanding what you are going through.

Finally saw a plow here in Wallingford. Followed by a woman walking in the street down the hill with a laundry basket on a string and a gas can, presumably headed for the gas station.

We have power here, so I can only imagine she ran out of oil. Really, really glad I checked mine earlier this week. I can't imagine what the people without power are going through right now.

Uh, maybe because they got twice as much snow and as such the trucks were stuck during the storm and couldn't plow.....

We saw plows stuck in Norwalk, Westport and Fairfield. Post Road East in Westport was a mess a few hours ago. Roads in Norwalk are great, was a bit suprised by Westport's roads. We spent the morning digging our car out, as well as a few of our neighbor's. The Danbury line Metro North tracks aren't looking so great.
