The heavy stuff is incoming. Conditions are going to get really bad in the next few hours. Those red radar returns south of us are going to put down insane snow rates.

Yup. Half foot of snow across SW CT. Worst is coming after 7pm but watching the track... a bit too far East for my liking. Maybe NYC gets less cause of it

Looks like one of those 3"/hr bands has set up over central LI...TWC just reported Islip picking up 5" in last 2 hrs, with lightning. They upped the totals for central CT based on where this band is setting up.

I was thinking the same thing looking at the radar, as the "edge" looks like it's halfway into NJ. Thinking maybe even western FFC gets less than expected, but more than NYC. But Suffolk County and most of CT (especially southeast CT) looks ready for a whopper.
