Unfortunately you can't get News 12 in northern FFC.

And it requires Cablevision. No thanks.

I can't stand WTNH because the weather girl, Erika Martin, dresses like she's going to the club. Not appropriate-- sorry... One time I actually saw the girdle under her dress haha. Gil is great but he's definitely a snow fanatic!

I have watched the Fox group for awhile now and don't mind it except for a few things;

1) Logan Byrnes is a complete reject. I cannot stand his little snyde comments and his know-it-all attitude.

2) I enjoy Joe Furey even though he is not always right, he is at least pleasant to listen too.

3) Rachel Lutzker is probably to me one of the sexiest women in the news. She is on her second maternity leave but I think it just adds to her appeal.

4) Stories are pretty good, you get the info you need but they seem to really focus more on the Hartford area instead of New Haven or other towns.

One thing ALL of these stations miss is that they try to run similar outlines like the big MSNBC, Fox, CNN channels do. Focusing on the 24 hour news cycle and forgetting about stories they reported on yesterday. They talk about a really bad accident or fire or other incident yet never circle back or even have a backpage ed on their sites to explain reasons or follow-ups. It's really disappointing so I tend to turn towards the local paper "Record Journal" to provide me details of stories and happenings in my town. Thankfully my town paper is really good about it and the newsletter sent from the Town Hall regarding the season is fun to flip through.

With the quality of our journalism nationally at an all time low, a completely uninformed/misinformed public that prefers ideological garbage to actual journalism and reality, perhaps sex appeal is pretty low on the list of what we should expect from journalists?

When you have other women of the news in short tight dresses flashing all they can for you to oggle, it's nice to have someone who is a little more conservative yet has the appeal.

Although I do agree on a larger scale that quality is lacking across the band.

Did anyone see the end of Channel 3 News Friday morning? It was Alessa Stephanova's last day and they all were crying and exchanging gifts and presents. Eric Parker, who was out for some sort of surgery, showed up to everyone's surprise. It was all kind of touching. The new girl looks good but we will see. Channel 3 seems to be the training ground for these traffic girls incluing Rachel Lutzccccher and Terasa LaBarber. Wish they would stick around. Jay
