WFSB wanted to be on in Fairfield County, now WCBS has deleted them claiming exclusivity. They shot themselves in the foot just like WTIC-61 did.

WFSB barely reports in Fairfield County? I guess you don't watch them very much. How many stories does WCBS-2 report in Bridgeport? WTNH all they do is scanner news, they listen to the police & fire calls and do ambulance chasing. They always did that.

Default WTNH in re-trans dispute

Now WTNH is in a re-transmission dispute with COX. What a surprise it is not with Cablevision!

Many years ago my favorite was Janet Peckinpaugh. If that's how her named is spelled. I think she was on WTNH. Pretty lady.

she's been on all 3. started with TNH, went to FSB, left then sued them for breach of contract and sex discrimination and won then after all that, ended up at NBC30. don't know what the heck she's doing now.

Haha, I see it as the TV version of news that you would find on Patch.com. I find that it's much more local than other stations, and appreciate that level of relevancy, but I can almost find at least one or two grammatical mistakes, reporting blunders, editing errors, etc. during each broadcast. Just about the only upside is that they feature mostly women on-screen (visually appealing ).

WFSB-TV 3-4, a.k.a. WFSB Fairfield County is a joke. I've noticed that almost every local ad spot is either a station promo or a PSA. The other morning at 9 AM, they were running the syndicated version of Better from Merideth Broadcasting, as opposed to Live! With Kelly and Michael, since WABC-TV (ABC) channel 7 would have the local rights there.
